Incident Location: 2 Snowhill Street (Current Location of Spotswood Diner)
Incident Summary: On the evening of January 3, 1994, the Spotswood
Volunteer Fire Department responded to a working structure fire on 2
Snowhill St. (The current location of the Spotswood Diner strip mall), during
a nasty storm of freezing rain and 30+ MPH winds that fanned and quickly
spread the fire. The two story building with stores on the first floor and an
apartment on the second floor ignited after a cigarette lit bedding in the
apartment.
